Welcome to 5th Grade!

        Welcome to the 5th grade!
My name is Michele McCann, and I am thrilled to be your teacher at Timber Creek for the 2017-2018 school year! I have seven years of experience teaching, with the first five having been in 5th and 6th grades. The last two years I served as an Instructional Coach in Conroe ISD. I not only worked with 5th and 6th grades, but also had the privilege of supporting younger elementary teachers and students alike. 5th grade however, has always been my happy place!
I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you on this new journey as we diligently work together to ensure that all of you grow into lifelong learners, ready to take on junior high school the following year. I hope to meet all of you at "Meet The Teacher" on Friday August 18, from 4:00-5:30. See you there!

Class Newsletter May 14-18

Parents and Students,
Thank you SO much for making Teacher Appreciation week one to remember for me. All of the notes, gifts, cards, hugs, and encouraging emails were incredibly appreciated and cherished. Ruby, our newest fur baby, also enjoyed all of her new toys and it was so kind of all of you to think of her as well. Thanks again from the bottom of my heart!

5th Grade Ceremony

Good Morning 5th Grade Parents!

I just wanted to give you a heads up regarding the letter that will be coming home in THIS Wednesday's folder. I will be doing a 5th grade slideshow for their 5th grade celebration ceremony the last week of school. I am asking that EVERY 5th grade student sends in a current picture and a baby pic (around ages 0-3 years). The images need to be in a JPEG format through e-mail. If you can't e-mail them, please send in the originals, and I can scan them in for you! The deadline for photos is May 11th, which is NEXT Friday.

Also, since this is the group of kids that opened the school in 2012 when they were in Kinder, I am asking those students that opened our school in Kinder to send in their KINDER yearbook photo or a photo of them starting Kinder. We will be doing something with those photos as well!

Please e-mail all of the pictures to BOTH of these addresses to make sure that I receive them: britneyculver@tomballisd.net and britney.culver@yahoo.com. I am having issues with the school servers blocking things, and I want to make sure that I receive them. I will ALWAYS reply back stating that I have received them, so if you don't hear back, feel free to call me at the school EXT 4675.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
