About Mrs. Budd

Hello 5th Grade Students and Parents!!
(Click +Subscribe to receive updates ===>)

My name is Kristi Budd and I'm going to have the pleasure of teaching Math and Science for my 5th year at Timber Creek.  A little about myself: I born and raised in Southern California where I graduated from California State University San Bernardino with my Bachelors in Mathematics.  I married my high school sweetheart, Jason. We moved to Texas 4 years ago and we are so happy to call The Woodlands our home!  Together we have 2 kids, Jackson (4) and Kyla (born on 7/11).  Our family enjoys outdoor activities especially soccer;*)

I cannot wait to meet each and every one of you for the 2017-2018 school year!  On July 11th, I had a precious baby girl and will be staying home with her until October 2nd.  Mrs. Scott will be filling in for me during these first six weeks.  She is amazing and I know you all will have a fabulous start to the year with her.  I hope you are ready for an awesome time in 5th Grade Math and Science this year.  Let's make memories <3

Field Trip Info for Tuesday 5/8

Dear Parents,

On Tuesday, May 8, 2018, our 5th graders will travel to Minute Maid Park for their field trip. Go Astros!

Here are a few helpful reminders in preparing your child.

  1. Wear your 5th grade t-shirt and if you don’t have one wear a shirt in your class color or TCES shirt.

Abrams: pink, Budd:  purple, Jackson: royal blue, and McCann: mint

Wear comfortable shoes for walking (no heels on the field).

  1. Pack your lunch in a large zip lock bag with your name clearly labeled.

Bring a drink and be sure it in a disposable container.

If you ordered a lunch from the cafeteria, your child will pick it up in the morning before we leave.

  1. The tour starts promptly at 11:30 and will finish at 1:00.

Chaperones:

*Parking Maps have been sent home with your child last week, if not found let me know and I’ll send

 another one on Monday.

We’ll need to walk in together as a TCES group.

*Parents might go through a metal detector, so please leave any item that might prevent you from touring with us at home.

5th Grade Celebration Ceremony

Hello 5th Grade Parents!

I just wanted to give you a heads up regarding the letter that went home in THIS Wednesday's folder. I will be doing a 5th grade slideshow for their 5th grade celebration ceremony the last week of school. I am asking that EVERY 5th grade student sends in a current picture and a baby pic (around ages 0-3 years). The images need to be in a JPEG format through e-mail. If you can't e-mail them, please send in the originals, and I can scan them in for you! The deadline for photos is May 11th, which is NEXT Friday.

Also, since this is the group of kids that opened the school in 2012 when they were in Kinder, I am asking those students that opened our school in Kinder to send in their KINDER yearbook photo or a photo of them starting Kinder. We will be doing something with those photos as well!

Please e-mail all of the pictures to BOTH of these addresses to make sure that I receive them: britneyculver@tomballisd.net and britney.culver@yahoo.com. I am having issues with the school servers blocking things, and I want to make sure that I receive them. I will ALWAYS reply back stating that I have received them, so if you don't hear back, feel free to call me at the school EXT 4675.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks!

Britney Culver
