My name is Beth Ann Cornwell. This is my eleventh year in the classroom and my seventh year at Timber Creek Elementary. My first year in the classroom was spent at Dripping Springs High School as a long term substitute in the Life Skills classroom. I then spent 2 years at Dripping Springs Middle School teaching Math, Science, and Social Studies in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. In 2013 my family and I moved to The Woodlands and I took on a Technology Teaching role and a local Christian Elementary School before becoming a part of the Timber Creek team.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 26 years and we have two children. Our oldest son served in the US Marine Corps for 4 years and is now serving in the US Army. He is Married to a wonderful woman and they have the most beautiful daughter and our first Granddaughter. Our youngest son is a Freshman at Norwich University in Vermont.
I am originally from The North East where I earned a BA in Interior Architecture. I owned my own business for several years until moving to Austin Texas in 2006. At that time I decided to make a change in careers and went back into the classroom to earn my Teaching Certificate. I am certified in Special Education and Art (both K - 12) as well as English, Math, Science, and Social Studies grades 4-8 and ESL. I have enjoyed working with The Timber Creek Elementary Team and am looking forward to working with your children.
